Local Communities and Non-profits

Every year the Fairfield Rotary supports worthwhile initiatives in our community by offering grants to local non-profits and community based services.

In the spirit of putting "Service Above Self", the Fairfield Rotary Club has donated more than $360,000 since 1990 in grant funding to numerous nonprofit organizations. All local not-for-profit organizations are welcome to submit their funding requests through our grant application process.

This past year the club awarded over $25,000 dollars in grants to a group of individuals and organizations. (See list below)

Our grants are created with monies created through the efforts of Fairfield Rotarian creating and working fundraising events throughout the year. They’re intended to be used for, but not limited to, capital expenditures, or non-recurring expenses ranging from $500.00 to $2,500.00.

Each year, in November we get a full-house at the Gaelic American Club, as grant recipients come in for award presentations and a celebratory lunch. (Our luncheon is held once a year, on the Monday after Thanksgiving.)
