Fairfield Rotary Foundation’s 29th Annual Golf Classic

On Monday, Sept 26th, the Fairfield Rotary Club will again be hosting our big fall event — our Annual 2016 Golf Classic. This year we are doing it as a fundraiser for Veterans.

Come join us at Brooklawn Golf Club again this year.
(Details of event itinerary to come)

Brooklawn Country Club was founded in 1895 by the heirs to the Singer Sewing Machine Company. In 1929, A.W. Tillinghast created three new holes, revised others and designed eighteen new greens its baffling contours are the trademark of Brooklawn.  The course rolls up and down steep hills and across the Rooster River, which crosses six holes.  Brooklawn has hosted four USGA events, the most notable was the 1987 U.S. Seniors Open won by Gary Player. Gene Sarazen began his career at Brooklawn in 1918. This club is a traditional Classic in every way. The middle tees are rated 72.0, a slope of 136 and 6,350 yards.
