EVENT WRAP UP:

We held our 25th Annual 1 Club Golf outing this past Saturday.  I am happy to report we were able to raise over $9,400, which our club will donate to Homes for the Brave.  We had 75 golfers, which was our most ever.  I appreciate Norma & George for helping out during registration as well as Ben Williamson for bringing a foursome.

I would also like to thank our event sponsor, Kathy Piro of BearingStar Insurance since they donated $3,000.  We also will be receiving a $1,800 donation from Home Depot, $1,000 donation from our beverage sponsor, Tito’s Homemade Vodka & a $250 sponsorship from Robert Piro, R. Piro Electric.

The following were our tee sponsors:
Kevin Lesko, Lesko & Polke Funeral Home – $100
Bruce Minoff, Hansen’s Flower Shop – $100
Rob Russo, Russo & Associates, LLC – $50
Mac Leask, John M. Leask II CPA – $50
Adam Bajko, Chips Restaurant  – $50
Sal Spadaccino, Broker, Spadaccino Realty Team, LLC – $100
Victor Ferrante, Attorney at Law – $50

I would also like to thank the following Rotarians who were able to donate gift cards: Paul Barnes, Ernie Karkut, George Markley & Gary Kealey.

Next year, will be our 10th anniversary for our 1 golf club outing as well as our 30th anniversary for our regular golf outing, which is scheduled for Monday, September 25th so mark your calendars.

Thanks once again and have a great rest of the week.

Sincerely,

Bill Llewellyn
