The Fairfield Rotary Club donates a Peace Pole at Fairfield Police Station. On Thursday, September 24th Fairfield Rotary in partnership with the Town of Fairfield and Fairfield Police Department dedicated a Peace Pole to the town.
Peace Poles are often dedicated on or around September 21 in recognition of the United Nations International Day of Peace.
The Peace Pole bears the universal message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” and will serve as a permanent reminder of Fairfield’s shared commitment to peace, compassion and goodwill among people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
